This Insight Meditation weekend retreat is being held at the Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House, located in Lake Dallas, TX. The retreat begins on Thursday, August 22nd at 6:00pm and ends on Sunday, August 25th at 1:00pm. We ask that you arrive between 4:30pm and 6:00pm on Thursday to settle into your room. The retreat center will be serving dinner promptly at 6:00pm.

During this retreat we will explore the power of Noble Silence as we dedicate ourselves to unbroken mindfulness, the development of equanimity, and the cultivating of supportive wholesome mental states. The practice of Noble Silence provides a nurturing space for introspection and insight. Our outward stillness helps to create an atmosphere of inner tranquility, fostering a deep and profound connection with the present moment. This retreat is suitable for both new and experienced meditators and all those interested in experiencing inner peace amidst serene surroundings.

This Insight Meditation weekend retreat is being held at the St. Benedict Center, located in Schuyler, NE. The retreat begins on Thursday, September 26th at 6:00pm and ends on Sunday, September 29th at 1:00pm. We ask that you arrive between 4:30pm and 6:00pm on Thursday to settle into your room. The retreat center will be serving dinner promptly at 6:00pm.

During this retreat we will focus on the practice of Metta (Lovingkindness). This silent retreat is suitable for both new and experienced meditators. We will develop a wise and compassionate attitude in our practice, as well as nurture a spirit of inquiry. The retreat is an invitation to extend and deepen personal experience of insight meditation with instruction on the establishments of mindfulness, metta, and forgiveness.

We will explore the Four Foundations of Mindfulness with an emphasis on continuity of mindfulness. This silent retreat is suitable for both new and experienced meditators. We will develop a wise and compassionate attitude in our mindfulness practice, as well as nurture a spirit of inquiry. Retreatants will receive instruction on the establishments of mindfulness, spiritual faculties, and factors of enlightenment.

A week-long silent mindfulness retreat at Insight Retreat Center with alternating sitting and walking meditation, instruction, dharma talks, work meditation, and practice discussion with the teachers. Living pure and simple is the theme of our February retreat where we align with wisdom. Namely, fundamental dharmas such as The Four Noble Truths, with an emphasis on The Eightfold Path. This silent retreat is suitable for both new and experienced meditators. We will develop a wise and compassionate attitude in our practice, as well as nurture a spirit of inquiry. The retreat is an invitation to extend and deepen personal experience of insight meditation with instruction on the path factors related to wisdom, virtue, and concentration.
